We are unfortunately going to be out of town entirely in the days leading up to school—we will be getting the kids tested at a drugstore and provide the results, both uploading them and bringing hard copies for the first day.

I have heard of sites running out of testing kits and that walk ins are at risk of not getting it on that same day

But how do we see the results?

I was able to register my ETK child for Covid testing with just the ID number (even if I didn’t have my parent pin yet to add him to my parent portal account)

The results will be available on the parent portal, I’m sure it will be treated as if you got a test from a 3rd party and can present it at the school entrance in lieu of a parent pass

For returning parents, the student ID number is on the report card. There was a second piece of paper with our report card and I think that paper had parent and student PIN numbers on it. Last year, LAUSD had a tech support number where they reset our pin and set us up.
