Will there be someone able to check Daily Pass from the carline soon? That was so helpful last year.

Question for Mr Kim- can siblings of ETK enter with them at the Las Palmas reunion gate?
iPhone
50:25
will that still apply at the reunion gate? (since it is only ETK/PAL students?)
Sarah Greene
50:35
Any way we can go back to scanning phones in the carline? That would increase carline utilization. Also, could we get a crossing guard back at las palmas and 2nd?
Ali Zerden
51:16
Totally agree Sarah - that would be helpful!
Matthew Peskay
57:27
What is a ‘homeschool’ class?
Gigi Blatt

“Homeschool” in this conversation is the local school, English language curriculum.

@Gigi - thanks!

Is there a 5th option? Offering korean language as an after school enrichment class?
Matthew Peskay
01:00:49
In option 2 - are you recruiting/adding students in grades 1-3? (e.g. instead of having them start in Kinder and matriculate up naturally).
Sarah Kim
01:02:46
Echoing Matthew - we applied for 1st grade KDLP but didn’t get in due to space limitation. Is there an option to add more spaces for 1st to 3rd grade?
Susan Kim
01:03:25
Has there been consideration of making KDLP magnet as well? I think, that would keep a lot of the parents in the program.
Sarah Greene
01:05:46
I bet magnet is a big reason for attrition in the older grades…perhaps exit interviews from families who left after 3rd would be helpful
Sarah Frank-Meltzer, LCSW
01:07:38
I wonder if families question whether their students could / should enter mid-grade (3/4/5) if there are no native speakers at home or previous Korean language exposure. Can you speak to that?
